"I think it has everything to do with you.”
Your excuse is valid, but i’d like to point you in the direction of Stefan/Caroline from TVD, which Starcrossed is angling toward in terms of longevity. Stefan flat out said they wouldn’t happen in the pilot, he and Elena were pre-determined and Care was her best friend. Stefan and Caroline are now 5 seasons later about this ______ close from falling in love.
Pretty sure if Roman/Julia is popular enough, the showrunners and writers take notice, it will gain a little traction.
I have to say, as long as it gains enough traction that fanfic exists to soothe my aching heart, I’m actually totally okay with them never becoming any kind of canon.
Although, I can say that after five seasons, I’d really like Stephen/Caroline to just happen already. I’ve been silently shipping them since…2x02, I think.
I multiship so I usually don’t get shafted either way. That said it’s too early in for me to make up my mind on anything. I’ll be happy as long as the show gains enough momentum to fuel enough fic to keep me fed.
I agree on the Steroline front. I’ve been shipping since season 2. I don’t even watch anymore. Some things should just be left to fic. In my experience a lot of character assassination happens when a ship becomes canon. It’s like a chain reaction.
…long may I reign.
You cannot die until you have suffered the same way that I have suffered, until you have known complete despair, and you will. I promise.
Reblog if you’re currently writing a novel, even if it’s only in your head or scribbled in the back of a notebook somewhere.
Think about how many books don’t exist yet.
Jesus, the notes! It makes me happy that there is such going on in heads out there!
If this ever gets to 200,000, I’ll write a whole novel. XD
